 It's not entirely clear whether this python module is part of the sugar
 platform:

 however it was indeed shipped in OLPC OS before, so perhaps that makes it
 arguable for inclusion.

 regardless, lets get the dso versioning fixed first, reported at
 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=532663
