Comment(by dsd):

 looks like public_rpms got aggregated and turned into RPM repositories
 here:
 http://xs-dev.laptop.org/~cscott/repos/

 joyride builds used these repos directly. Actual releases used (presumably
 manually created and updated) frozen git trees of RPMs e.g.
 http://mock.laptop.org/repos/local.8.2.1/

 I propose restarting the public_rpms system, with 3 new repos: f11 (both
 XO-1.5 and XO-1 stuff, most stuff will go here), f11-1.5 (XO-1.5 specific
 stuff only e.g. XO-1.5 kernel), f11-1.0 (XO-1 specific stuff only e.g.
 XO-1 kernel)

 Kernel autobuild scripts will then need tweaking to put new kernels in the
 right place.

 The RPM transmission from crank to xs-dev seems to be via rsync - a
 crontab still runs which generates a still-used rsync config (/home/olpc-
 code/rsync/rsyncd.conf) of all available public_rpm repositories.

 The xs-dev side of the system is unknown to me, I'll need ssh access to
 investigate and get things running again.
