 I've attached a compiled version of nm-dhcp-client-action.c which I can
 confirm fix the problems. The scripts above reproduce the issue for me
 usually in less than 10 minutes (it helps to close sugar first), and Dan's
 nm-dhcp-client-action.c hack has survived the same script for more than 3
 hours before I got bored. I'm going to include this in Paraguay's
 deployment.

 Also made some noise on the dbus mailing list as it looks like this 5-year
 old issue still exists even in the latest code :(
