Can we ask VIA to assign us a special PCI subproduct ID for the HDA
 device?

The way things usually work in the HDA world is that various codecs are
not useful or are configured badly for certain laptops... so the Linux HDA
driver attempts to detect which laptop is being used and apply some
laptop-specific workarounds. The usual method of detecting this is through
 PCI subvendor/subproduct ID.

For example, it appears that our setup includes wiring for a docking
station but we will never have that with the XO-1.5, so this is one thing
that we would override to have saner mixer controls.

On my A1 the subproduct and subvendor IDs are the same as the primary
 vendor/product IDs, 1106:3288
