Comment:

 Also, the clear button deletes the current source view's text, and doesn't
 seem to save in Journal.

 Maybe the clear button can be "reset", and that would re-load the example
 from file, and clear the terminal window?

 Is there a case when the terminal window really needs to be cleared?
