 Here's a kernel with DRM as a module:
 http://dev.laptop.org/~dilinger/xo-1.5/kernel-2.6.30-20090618.1.olpc.7faf61c.i586.rpm

 On booting this configuration and loading the module, nothing appears in
 /dev/dri and X takes more than 15 seconds to start up while it is probing
 around in that directory. It never succeeds in finding anything or
 enabling DRM.
