 Started working on this... untested code is at users/dsd/dracut-modules-
 olpc in git

 It reimplements parts in shell script, so a "normal" boot (when we don't
 need to upgrade or activate) will boot without executing any python stuff.

 It also no longer implements its own init, we never did anything with
 that. It could return when we have something special to do in an init
 process, but for now it will just hand over to the regular system init.
