Comment:

 Who is the go-to person for questions about video/DCON/panel/...?

 xf86-video-geode had a special geode_dcon.c file which hardcodes the
 dimensions of OLPC's panel, which eventually gets communicated to X
 through xf86OutputCreate()

 I wonder if there is anywhere nice to slot in panel dimensions into
 Chris's openchrome patches... or can we query the actual panel to ask for
 its size? Or should we just stay with hardcoding the figures in xorg.conf?
