We need to pick an initrd, get our boot animation running, and implement
the initrd part of our security system.

 Options:
  1. Scott's setup based on Debian's initrd as before
  1. Something based on Fedora's mkinitrd (or mkliveinitrd)
  1. Something based on dracut

I'd rather steer clear of (1), it was a bit of a nightmare having to
 rebuild initrd's that way.

 (2) I think would be doable, might be a bit messy but would be more
 maintainable than before.

 (3) would be great and is the perfect target for getting this stuff
upstream, but dracut is young. I'll poke at it tomorrow.

In addition to this choice, we have to make livecd-creator happy by
developing a script like mkinitrd that creates an initrd off the running
system, and run it during installation of our kernel RPMs. The initrd must
be named based on the name of the kernel, so we'll also have to wrangle a
symlink into place to have a static path that we can put in olpc.fth for
 bootup.
