#9409: OFW chokes on ext2 symlinks during boot

I'm having trouble booting our custom "versioned" filesystem layout on the
XO-1.5 because OFW is having trouble when /boot is a symlink. In the
versioned fs, /boot is a symlink to /versions/boot/current/boot and
 /versions/boot/current is a symlink itself.

Isolating those files/directories/links I can't reproduce this, but I can
reproduce it with a much simpler example where /boot is a symlink to
bootreal which contains the olpc.fth - OFW crashes and hard-resets.

To reproduce, flash this 32gb ext2 image onto the first partition of a usb
flash disk, and insert into the XO-1.5. When your power up, it will just
get into an endless cycle of rebooting.
