 I have a couple of suspects, based on memory and a bit of Googling.

 The first suspect is #9069, which sounds suspiciously similar to both your

 Finally, your issue might be novel.

 Could you please check the permissions on /home/olpc/Activities by running

 {{{
 ls -alF /home/olpc/Activities

 in Terminal and pasting the output here?

 (Feel free to send up the logs generated by olpc-log as well.)

 Regards,

 Michael
