Comment:

 To fix the journal problem, you can add the audio/mpeg mime type to
 /home/olpc/Activities/Browse.activity/activity/activity.info and restart
 sugar.

 I think this is a suitable workaround for uruguay. This is all a bit
 messy, but that's the price of an unsupported feature :)
