 A slightly different instance today:  after resume from suspend (not
 reboot), wlan did not start, as above.  Both left-hand LEDs dark, and no
 one in Neighbourhood view except my XO icon.  My XO did not respond to USB
 memory stick insertion in either Journal view or console view ( # ll
 /media ).  So maybe #4476 is implicated (USB lockup)?

 This was again using 8.2-767 & Q2E18.   olpc-log coming...

 Problem went away after reboot.
