Under Windows, the Marvell WLAN often connects at 1 Mbps instead of the
expected 54 Mbs. The access point is in the same small room and the
network has very little traffic. Other machines routinely connect at 54
Mbps, as do XOs running Linux.

The AP is a D-Link WBR-2310, security disabled (open), set to "Super G
without turbo" mode, Extended Range Mode enabled, channel 1.

Driver version: 8.72.706.716 and .717 behave identically in this respect

Firmware version: the version that was submitted to Microsoft

BIOS version: OFW Q2E27 and Insyde BIOS behave identically in this respect

OS version: Windows XP SP3 (SP2 not tested)
