Comment(by garycmartin):

 When I first tried TurtleArt I had no idea how to 'run' the bricks. I was
 looking for a play right triangle icon hidden somewhere in the UI. It took
 quite a few tries before I discovered. Originally (early last year) I
 assumed it was just broken until I saw some output/screenshots from other
 users who had got it to work. Clicking a tile to run seems non-obvious (my
 expectation was that the grey stop/hand icon on the top right should
 alternate between the stop sign and a play triangle).

 The down side to the single stop/play icon UI approach is that I've just
 noticed you can have multiple sets of bricks doing different things, and
 then trigger each one manually in different sequences by clicking. An
 interesting but well hidden feature.

 Only bonus thought is: On mouse over, a play badge icon (circle with right
 triangle) appears over the top right corner of a brick or set of bricks.
 Clicking it would run that tile or set of tiles.
