Comment:

 We don't generate the SVGs on the fly because I am not convinced that we
 can algorithmically generate them given the various string lengths in
 different languages, but the multiple SVG solution seems to work fine. We
 do convert SVG to PNG on the first launch to speed up all the subsequent
 rendering.
