 I confirm that this phenomenon does happen in a squeakland etoys system,
 but not in an olpc-etoys system.  And even a Squeakland image, I've only
 seen it in the precise situation described above -- changing the label of
 a ScriptActivationButton.  Direct calls to FillInTheBlank do not have the
 problem, nor does any other FillInTheBlank usage I've tried, including the
 self-same change-label dialog when applied to a "press me" button obtained
 from the Objects catalog.

 Why this glitch should happen where it does, and only in a squeakland
 image, and only in that one particular use of FillInTheBlank, remains a
 mystery.  However, fwiw, I attach a speculative change to a
 FillInTheBlankMorph method which seems to remove the bug...
