 automatic power management?

Saving power is always good. Also, you may have plentiful power but still
want/need to have more than 3 hours of battery time when it's convenient
to have the XO unplugged. It's also better to have a suspend that lasts
for a day or two, on a full charge, than about 8 hours.

I also have an issue with the screen backlight being set to the highest
level after automatic power management has turned it back up after being
auto dimmed and suspend. It shoud restore to the previous user set level.

If I have some free time to look at this, and the bug I described, what
files and components should I be looking at?

 Best regards

 Build 8.2.0 767
