#9928: memory leak during suspend/resume

Comment(by pgf):
since we have a workaround (set wakeup parameters) for testing, and since
users will only see a leak on lid or power button suspends (not idles
suspends), i'm setting this aside for the time being. my debugging showed
that request/release_firmware() are only being called at the right times,
and that they're always calle in pairs, and that the kfree() and vfree()
calls really are both executing, with the correct pointers. so the leak
is presumably some other copy of the firmware perhaps in the uevent path,
which is how the firmware buffer gets filled.
