 was this definitely on os64, or perhaps something older?

 When you woke it up, did the name screen appear instantly, or did it take
 a few more seconds to continue the loading process before showing that?

 (assuming it appeared instantly) I suspect that the problem was that Sugar
 fully loaded to the naming screen, but Sugar's DCON unfreeze failed for
 whatever reason, then it idle-suspended, then when you resumed ohm did a
 2nd DCON unfreeze which succeeded. Sugar logs would be interesting.
