 I continue to see this problem on my C1.

 After disabling automatic power management, I ran the "standard" Linux
 suspend resume test (using a hex 100 delay on autowack, and running a loop
 which continually suspends the system).   It ran for a couple of thousand
 cycles before I ran into a sugar bug: I couldn't make the frame go away,
 which prevented me from seeing how many cycles had run.

 But running it overnight, I once again saw a symptom similar to 9865, but
 this time the screen was stuck all white...
