 You have an exception in your hands :-)

 Write is an exception in not hitting this bug, because it saves with a
 well-known extension that is correctly associated to a mimetype that Write
 registers. Try TurtleArt for a more obvious case, or record (which iirc
 saves in either XML or .zip).

 Even with Write documents, you will still see the problem that tags
 description (that you may have added via the journal) are lost.

 My patchseries fixes both issues.
