 In the course of re-testing #9128, I let my G1G1 (old touchpad) XO-1 (with
 os10) fall into deep suspend (screen completely dark -- if I remember
 correctly, the power LED was dark).  [Had to first pull AC power, since
 I've customized powerd to not suspend while on AC.]  Pressed <enter> on
 XO-1 keyboard -- that made the power LED go into slow pulsing mode.

 Pressed power button - that awakened system.  But the "restarted" os10
 system did NOT take input from the XO-1 keyboard nor from the XO-1
 touchpad.  Had an USB hub plugged into the XO-1, with an USB mouse and an
 USB keyboard plugged into the USB hub.  The "restarted" os10 system DID
 take input correctly from the USB keyboard and the USB mouse.
