 Reviewed LP#99489, and I agree, adding a default route ''is'' the wrong
 thing to do when we consider everything else in our stack; Browse, olpc-
 update-query, olpc-update, Software update.  Adding this route will cause
 connection hangs and timeouts.  It is better to deny the packets.

 I suspect a more correct solution may involve changing the setsockopt to
 nominate the eth0 interface directly.  At the moment the code uses
 INADDR_ANY which implies doubt, since both lo and eth0 are present.  I've
 not tested this, it's only a guess, based on my memory of the ip_mc_
 kernel code I looked at yesterday.
