 I obtained some logs from a system today that I though was hung but it
 actually responded to the power button by going into and out of resume.

 The screen was dark (LCD off) and I pressed the power button to resume.
 Got what I though was the hang.  When I went to power off the system with
 the power button I noticed that it went back into resume.  I was able to
 make it come out of and go into resume several times.  Many times the
 screen would flash with what looked like a sugar login screen but then go
 dark.

 After several cycles of this the screen came on and stayed on.  Keyboard
 and mouse worked normally and I was able to get logs from dmesg and
 /var/log/messages.  I've attached them to the ticket.
