Comment(by mikus):

 Tried running with suspend -  os60 q3a23

 The good news: When the system suspended, was able to get back to a
 working state.

 What I didn't like: I use an external USB keyboard. On 802, when the
 screen dims:[[BR]]
 (1) On my system I have a minute or so to intervene manually to prevent
 the suspend.[[BR]]
 (2) With the screen dimmed, I can continue to use my external USB
 keyboard.

 On the XO-1.5, as far as I can tell, the system thinks it is idle even
 when I am typing on my external keyboard -- so it goes ahead with its
 "suspend". The first I know about it is when my keyboard stops working -
 apparently power is being removed from USB when the screen dims. That
 means that if I want the CPU to continue working (for what I was doing), I
 have to switch over to the XO itself to intervene and prevent the system
 from completing its "idle suspend". However, the "power light starts
 pulsing" situation occurs so soon after the screen having dimmed that I
 don't have enough time to respond. Not my favorite human-computer
 interface.
