Comment:

 Fixed by svn 1584.  The problem was that the auto-creation of the "disk"
 alias from USB keys was failing due to a typo in the device name search
 string.  The security search list uses that "disk" alias instead of the
 hardcoded "u" alias, so the lack of "disk" prevented the USB from being
 searched.
