 Ed reports that Reuben tried a secure boot on an XO-1.5 and the startup
 sound kept repeating.

 I think the problem is that OFW's Linux kernel prep code turns off
 interrupts, and that causes "sound-end" to never complete, because the
 "playback-completed-alarm" routine never gets called when interrupts are
 off.
