 A unit was discharged while running Linux until the red battery light came
 on.

 Then it was restarted into !OpenFirmware, with ''watch-battery'' running
 along with zero backlight.  The battery capacity read 00%, but the other
 figures were not recorded.

 The black supply was connected.  The charge current was displayed as about
 2.57A.  Charging was done for between 30 seconds and two minutes; this was
 not recorded.

 The unit was disconnected from the supply, and the battery voltage slowly
 declined until the unit shut off:
