 Not quite.  In my original announcement of the kbcid code I indicated that
 that it was still very problematic with ALPS.  I've not yet spent the time
 with the scope and an ALPS device to figure out the quirks.  IIRC the ALPS
 device takes much longer to respond correctly on startup.  My timeouts are
 set for EnE and to be as short as possible.

 q3a19 has the bogus gamekey injection problem fixed which might work
 better but if not I'm not that surprised.
