 Quozl,
   The official (Quanta name) for the XO-1 is CL1 or CL1A (the A variant
 has the new touchpad).  Likewise, the XO-1.5 is CL1B.

 What is being reported here is that using an XO-1.5 motherboard in an XO
 with the old touchpad fails, due to problems with the keyboard/touchpad
 init code.   This is not a new problem, but one that we thought was fixed.

 The reason we care is that deployments may use a CL1B motherboard to
 repair a CL1 laptop, in which case they run into this problem.
