Comment:

 Behaviour is absent in os52.  Rolled forward slowly using ''yum''.  The
 behaviour is caused by update to ''olpc-utils'' version 1.0.13-1.

 It is ''olpc-utils'' commit

 utils/commit/?id=80a301983bfee2dbf6f67b0858a53d57ebeacb7a
 80a301983bfee2dbf6f67b0858a53d57ebeacb7a] which removed the custom sugar
 profile.  This is the only significant relevant change in ''olpc-utils''.

 I've confirmed this by reversing the patch; adding SUGAR_SCALING to
 ''olpc-session'' and placing the ''sugar-xo.gtkrc'' file back on the
 system.  The symptom goes away.
