 I suspect this bug will go the same way as all the previous ones have --
 yes, this would be nice, but the people asking for the man pages are not
 volunteering to create a package of section-1-only man pages for any
 particular language, so it is as unlikely to happen as it was two years
 ago in #5161.

 If such a package existed, though, I think it seems likely that we might
 choose to ship it.
