 before assembly, there is step where a barcode scanner sends the mb# and
 the wlan mac address to server2.  This is done with a separate computer
 because the XO is not connected to the net or powered at this step.

 at the dl stage, OFW sends mb# (from mfg data) and the wlan mac (read from
 wlan module electronically) to that server, which verifies that the wlan
 and mb are still together.

 need: credentials for server2, exact format of data sent to server2 at dl
 stage, and format of response data
