Comment:

I went ahead and hacked up an openchrome driver with Xv disabled, ready
for next build. It is holding us back on our preliminary work with the
camera which we're trying to make usable immediately - gstreamer's
ximagesink attempts to do something with Xv which causes the hang, even
though I had deliberately tried to avoid using Xv (i.e. I didn't choose
 xvimagesink).

Jon, I'll drop this immediately as soon as non-crashing Xv support is
ready. Would definitely prefer to see your work in place rather than this
 temporary hack.
