 Referring to the via-camera driver, Jon Corbet says:

  You must build it as a module.  ov7670 can be built-in, but if you build
 in both the driver will fail to initialize.  This is a V4L2 bug; I intend
 to fix it, but it's been low on my list.  (This, BTW, almost certainly why
 people have reported trouble with the Cafe driver on XO 1 systems and
 recent kernels).

 This module does not get autoloaded, so I've added a hack to olpc-utils to
 make that happen.

 It would be nice to get this bug fixed so that the hack can be removed and
 so that we don't have to ship this as a module.
