 Instead of running Firefox under Gnome, I normally run Firefox under Sugar
 (latest Firefox version, not sugarized).  In my opinion, the zooming (and
 the amount of screen real estate taken up by menus, etc.) is noticeably
 more obtrusive under Sugar than it is under Gnome.
