Comment(by thomaswamm):

 In Q2E18 which came with 8.2-763, save-nand is beautiful! It took me only
 3:51 (minutes:seconds) to backup my763.img (480MB) to a factory-formatted
 Sandisk cruzer micro 2GB USB memory stick.

 I then tested restore using copy-nand u:\my763.img which took only 4:03
 (min:sec).

 I am very happy with the outcome from starting this ticket!

 The save-nand user display is indeed much better now.

 Incidentally, I learn from this that backup/restore via save-nand/copy-
 nand does not restore the XO 'exactly', since scan-nand shows different
 results before and after. Before backup, the nand is very fragmented.
 After restore, the nand is unfragmented.
