 The dmesg outputs for
 [http://dev.laptop.org/attachment/ticket/8667/scan.fail.tgz fail] and for
 [http://dev.laptop.org/attachment/ticket/8667/scan.ok.tgz success]
 attached were taken with:

 {{{
 dmesg -c; sleep 1; iwlist eth0 scan; sleep 20; dmesg | tee <output-file>
 }}}

 So, they register 20 seconds after the scanning command in issued.
