 Even if PDF launching was streamlined you'd still have the problems of PDF
 I incompletely enumerated in bug #7898.  HTML and SVG are better than PDF!

 Another way to avoid the PDF download-Journal-launch dance is to enable
 Evince as a plug-in to Browse.  We don't have the dance and delay with
 .OGG links in Browse because Browse hands them to the Totem plug-in; the
 same could be true for PDFs.  Bug #3212 suggests unifying Read and Browse;
 jg's comment says it was rejected in another bug that I can't find.
