Had an XO (G1G1) operating normally (battery fully charged, via AC
connection), Joyride 2488. Issued 'Shutdown'. ALL the lights went off,
including the "connected to AC" front panel 'battery LED'. From then on
(on unplugging/plugging_in AC, or on reboot), could NOT get the 'battery
LED' to light -- but noticed that Frame showed me TWO battery icons, each
with 0% charge (log attached). [Taking the battery out for a minute did
 not make any change.]

With the XO booted, 'olpc-pwr-log' got STUCK at "Checking/waiting for a
battery" -- but the XO kept operating normally when I unplugged the AC
input -- so the battery still seems to be able to supply power. Switched
batteries with another XO -- the problem migrated along with the battery
(that's how come I can say that it is a bad battery that caused the
 misleading Frame indication).
