Comment:

 I have also seen this behavior in 8.2-763 when restarting X (control-alt-
 esc) when the backlight had been off. When it comes back up, the backlight
 is on but the swizzling is off. /sys/devices/platform/dcon/output is 1,
 /sys/devices/platform/dcon/mode was 0089.  Turning off the backlight goes
 to mode 0081, turning it back on goes to 0069 and restores color.
