 Since I already had it in my tree, here's the 'unfocus search box' patch
 -- it's not perfect; the search box is still focused the very first time
 you see the home screen.  But it prevents the search box from getting
 focused when you switch.

 I also prefer Eben's "better option"; let's see if I can make a small
 patch to do that.
