 Home was actually already patched specifically so that the search field
 ''is'' automatically focused.  This is desirable in most cases.
 Otherwise, you have to mess around with the touchpad to focus it, when you
 could have just pressed the home key and started typing a search.

 I think the better option for now is to cut the search field (show it only
 in list view) until we have a search that works in favorites view.  We
 still need the alert for the list view, of course.  I think a few
 accidental keystrokes which shuffle the current view around is acceptable,
 but switching views completely is indeed counter-intuitive.
