Comment:

 I would like to fix this bug in SimCity.  I've been waiting for ten months
 for some simple documentation on what Python calls an activity should make
 if it wants to use threads.  Marco?  Tomeu?

 [I tried adding "gobject.threads_init()" to the first available line of my
 activity's __init__
 function.  It didn't work, it doesn't know about "gobject".  I'm sure
 there's a gobject SOMEWHERE in this (%*$*# python gui code, I was just
 grasping at straws anyway.  As detailed above, I don't believe it's safe
 to call threads_init after Sugar has already made a bunch of GTK calls on
 my activity's behalf.  But I figured I'd see if it worked HALF the time,
 maybe, rather than have this bug stall for another 10 months.]
