Comment:

 Yea, it confused me to first time I saw this design. The logic does not
 seem consistent either. When the battery is fully charged it turns back to
 the XOs colours even though you are still plugged into and running off
 mains. My original expectation for this device icon was that it would
 always be in the XO colour, unless the physical battery was removed (where
 it would show as an empty white outline). Charging would be indicated by a
 badge of some type (likely the lightning bold z) as in previous designs.
