 It's been down a few days, at least not responding correctly. If you do a
 "nc xochat.org 5222" it immediately silently closes without an error.
 Usually you it'll sit there waiting for input, you type some junk and
 press return, and it'll respond with some XML error message. Wish we had
 an official external dev jabberd server to test against, the
 olpc.collabora.co.uk server has been un-usable for many months due to
 changes for gadget testing.

 I've been able to connect to one private jabber server today with build
 8.2-763, has several smoothly working chat sessions, and could see 3 or 4
 other buddies.
