Comment:

 Ok, the patch does what we want. I wonder if using the set_content(None)
 is the best approach, since we remove the children of the vbox as well and
 not only hiding it. Is it useful to have a way to do this for a palette,
 to hide the content? Or do I overcomplicate things? Marco, tomeu what do
 you think?
