 Hi Greg,

 If laptops were previously connected to a school server and registered
 with it ("registered" is a key word here), and now you want to connect to
 an access point (either the independent access point or even using a
 school server as just an access point), you have to deregister the machine
 from the school server. To do this, the school server-related entrys
 (lines) have to be (so far manually) removed from the config (not
 network.cfg!) file.

 This ticket is a request to create a user-friendly automated procedure to
 do it.
