Comment(by pgf):

 i moved my activity bundle directory aside, and installed a fresh copy,
 and cannot reproduce with the fresh copy. (i.e. a fresh copy of
 http://dev.laptop.org/~pgf/bundles/RoadMap-2.xo )

 so i diffed the two copies, and realized that i had made a small change to
 the original tree while testing something else. doh. sorry.

 in any case, the problem occurs because roadmap starts, and immediately
 quits due to a configuration error.

 to reproduce in your current copy, do the following, then retest.

 {{{
 $ cd /home/olpc/Activities/RoadMap.activity/config/default
 $ cp All All.copy
 }}}

 i've run your trace as instructed, but i don't think it will be very
 useful:

 {{{

 (gdb) where
